Pat-a-Cake

The evergreen nursery rhyme goes like this: Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, bakers man! Bake me a cake as fast as you can. This was exactly what the nursery children did. They, collectively baked a cake. They took turns pouring flour, milk, butter into a bowl. They each had a turn to stir the mixture and whipped the eggs. It goes without saying that when the cake came out of the oven after 40 minutes, each kid got their fair share of the fruit of their labour.
