Let’s talk about the present. I’ve been in regular contact with a handful of the alumni kids, who are no longer kids now. They are in secondary schools, JCs, entering uni soon and two have even migrated to Canada recently. Now that we have Facebook, MSN, Skype, etc.. I am in touch with them quite a fair bit. I can remember once upon a time when I had to speak to their parents to enquire about them. But now I go directly to them since they are old enough to read and write.
It is rather fun to know these kids from when they were tiny tots and to grow with them to their present age. I feel like a parent and yet not in the same way. To me they will always be my twinkle stars.
How the time they spent at Chen Li Kindergarten in their preschool years has impacted them in their teens and young adulthood, I cannot say for sure. But each time I had the chance to ask them, they would say that the kindergarten years were fun, especially the playground. You can see for yourself in the photos that they chose to take the shots at the playground.
