The K2 children had a traditional moon cake snack. They drank chinese tea, had a slice of yam, some pomelo and of course a slice or two of moon cake. Then the finale was where each child carried a lantern each.

Are Mooncakes Made of Moon?
When I asked the children, "What are moon cakes made of?" One six year old confidently answered, "moon!" Strawberry cakes are made of strawberries. Cheese cakes are made of cheese. So why not moon cakes are made of moon? To the young children it is just logical that moon cakes are made of moon. Well, they will learn in due time that moon cakes are made of all sorts of ingredients except the moon.
