Do young children know how to shop? Are they given a chance to do so? It is not a common sight to see children choosing their items of purchase and going to the check-out counter to pay for them. Well, a group of K2 children, together with their teachers went on a shopping spree. They get to choose what they want, look at the price, take the money out of their wallet and pay the cashier. This is an exercise that adults can do with their eyes closed. But not so for the children. They had to put in quite a bit of effort to do so. Nonetheless, it was fun and adventurous for them. Parents should try to let them do their own shopping (supervised, of course).
